F.A.Q.

What is Lip Blushing?

Lip blushing is a cosmetic tattooing procedure that enhances the natural color and shape of the lips. It involves depositing pigment into the lips using a small needle, creating a subtle tint that can improve lip symmetry, definition, and fullness. The results are generally natural-looking and can last for several years,  touch-ups will be needed over time. It’s often chosen for its ability to provide a long-lasting lip color and to reduce the need for daily lipstick application.

You should expect to need to refresh your lips between 1-3 years after first service. How long exactly will depend on a few factors like: age, skin oiliness, ink used and sun exposure.

Unfortunately, We cannot guarantee that permanent makeup will ever completely fade away.

However, due to the high turn over of lip tissue, and its vascularity, lip blushing is the one service that is most likely to fade completely overtime.

Yes! You can still get lip blushing. However, you need to see your family physician at least 7 days prior to for a prescription antiviral. The prescription antiviral will prevent the tattooing process from triggering an outbreak.

Here at Brow Envy, we use high-quality numbing during the service to keep you as comfortable as possible. However, due to the high vascularity and a high number of nerve endings in the lips, we cannot guarantee a pain-free experience.

Dark lips are the most technically challenging and physically demanding permanent makeup service offered.

It is the equivalent of a hairdresser bleaching and toning a client with multiple layers of different box dye colors to turn them blonde. This service requires the most amount of time and skill to prevent permanent hyperpigmentation/hypopigmentation.

Dark Lip Neutralization is the longest service we offer, which is why it is the most expensive.
