Powder brows are a form of eyebrow tattooing. We use a tattoo machine and a very tiny needle to gently poke ink into the skin. Under a Macro lens powder brows look like powder has been dusted into the skin. This effect gives a soft filled in look, which ages beautifully
How Long do Powder Brows Last?
You should expect to need to refresh your brows between 1-3 years after first service. How long exactly will depend on a few factors like: age, skin oiliness, ink used and sun exposure.
Will My Powder Brows Ever Completely Fade Away?
Unfortunately, We cannot guarantee that permanent makeup will ever completely fade away. However, we carry different pigments lines which have different fade rates. How are Powder Brows different than Microblading?
Powder Brows use a machine to create tiny pixels in the skin. Under a magnifying lens it looks like powder has been dusted on the skins surface. At a distance powder brows look like soft filled in makeup.
Microblading cuts the skin using a blade, ink is then rubbed into the cut. This method creates brows which look like hairs.
Do Powder Brows look natural?
Yes! Powder brows come in many different styles and density. If you would like a softer, more natural look it is easily achievable by your artist.
How will the artist create powder brows?
During your consultation you and your artist will decide on your style, shape, color and the density of the brows. Once your shape has been mapped out your artist will use a small needle to shade in your eyebrows. Your artist may use a few different hand motions including whip or pendulum shading to fill in your eyebrows. The artist will stop the service once your desired density has been acheived.
Do Powder Brows Hurt?
For most people powder brows do not hurt or feel sharp. We use numbing before and during the service, and you should not feel much of anything. Towards the end of the service, you may feel some stinging/burning sensation as the skin is open and senstive.
