Nano Brows create hair-like strokes using a tattoo machine. The needle is pulled through the skin, creating tiny sequential dots, like a sewing machine. This method looks a lot like microblading, but is less traumatic to the skin, making it right for more people.

Nano Brows will need to be updated every 12-18 months to keep the hairstrokes looking crisp.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that permanent makeup will ever completely fade away. However, at Brow Envy, we use pigments designed to become lighter as they age. This allows your hairstrokes to be repeated year after year, reducing the risk of blurring and the need to switch to powder.

  1. Clients with low density hair.
  2. Clients that want a natural hairstroke look.
  3. Clients with normal-dry skin.

You are not a good candidate if:

  1. You are a bleeder. Clients with Rosacea, thin skin, sensitive skin, bleeding disorders or are on blood thinners.
  2. Clients with Combination-Oily skin.
  3. Clients with dense hair.

Microblading and Nano Brows look almost identical but they are done very differently. Nano Brows are the superior service and here’s why.

  1. Nano brows are less traumatic and creates less scar tissue. Microblading cuts the skin, and ink is rubbed into the cut. Nano Pokes the skin with a needle. Since the skin never has to re-join it creates less scarring.
  2. Nano has less pigment loss during initial healing. Because Microblading is a cut, you have many days where the ink can “fall out” of the wound. Nano Brows lose less pigment because the ink is better locked into the skin.

Repeatedly tattooing the exact same area year after year will eventually scar. However, it takes longer for that scar tissue to form than microblading does.

Usually clients can expect to receive hairstrokes for 5-8 consecutive years before needing to switch to powder brows due to scar tissue.

During your consultation you and your artist will decide on your style, shape, color and the density of the brows. Once your shape has been mapped out your artist will use a small needle to line the pre-mapped hairstrokes. Your artist will sit you up a few times to make sure you look even on both sides.

For most people Nano Brows do not hurt or feel sharp. We use numbing before and during the service, and you should not feel much of anything. Towards the end of the service, you may feel some stinging/burning sensation as the skin is open and senstive.

Yes! We will never proceed until the client has fully approved the work.
